Getting started & how it works

What is ShotFrom?

ShotFrom turns the floor plan you already have into a tappable photo tour. You upload the plan, pin your listing photos onto each room with a camera direction, and get one link to paste into the realestate.com.au or Domain virtual-tour field. Buyers open it on their phone and navigate the property room by room.

Do I need new photography or a 3D scan?

No. ShotFrom uses the floor plan and the listing photos you already have — no extra shoot, no special hardware.

What file types can I upload?

Floor plans can be JPG, PNG, or PDF (including multi-page PDFs). Photos are standard image files.

Photos & storage

What happens to the photos I upload?

We automatically create optimised web versions (up to 2400px, WebP) sized for fast loading on a buyer's phone. These optimised versions are what appear in your listing and in anything you download or export from ShotFrom.

Do you keep my original full-resolution files?

No. To keep the viewer fast and storage sustainable, we do not retain the original full-resolution file after making the optimised versions. The highest-quality image ShotFrom stores and serves is the 2400px version — ample for on-screen viewing and web use. Always keep your own copies of original photos; ShotFrom is a listing-presentation tool, not a photo archive or backup.

How long do images stay live?

Images remain available while a listing is active. After a listing is marked sold or cancelled, the viewer stays live for 60 days, then the images are permanently deleted. We send a reminder before deletion, with a one-time extension option. Listing details, pins, and analytics are retained per our Privacy Policy.

Sharing & the viewer

Where do I put the ShotFrom link?

Paste it into the "virtual tour / external link" field on realestate.com.au or Domain, or share it directly. There is also an embeddable version for your own agency website.

Is it fast on mobile?

Yes — the viewer is built mobile-first to load quickly on 4G, because that is where buyers open the link.

Do buyers need an account?

No. Anyone with the link can open the listing viewer — no sign-up required.

Team & access

How do roles work?

An office has Principals, Admins, and Agents. Principals and Admins can invite teammates and manage the office; billing is Principal-only. Invited teammates join your office with the exact role you assign.

How do I invite a teammate?

From the Team page, enter their name and email and choose a role. They receive an email link; opening it and signing in joins them to your office automatically — no password to set.

Billing & subscription

How much does it cost?

$99/month or $990/year per office — unlimited agents and listings, branding, and analytics. Offices with three or more locations can contact us about invoiced pricing.

Is there a free trial?

Yes — start free with one published listing, no credit card. Publishing a second listing prompts you to start a paid plan.

What if a payment fails?

We'll notify you and retry. There's a 7-day grace period; after that, published listings may be unpublished until payment is resolved. Your data isn't immediately deleted — see the Subscription & Billing Terms.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep paid features until the end of the current period.

Data & privacy

Do you track buyers with cookies?

No. We don't use tracking or advertising cookies. To count unique sessions without identifying anyone, we use a one-way hash derived from IP and browser — we store the hash, not the raw IP. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.

Who can see my listings and data?

Published listings are viewable by anyone with the link. Within the platform, access is scoped to your office and role. See our Privacy Policy for how we store and protect data.
